Server and Error Logs

Every access automatically processes technical data: IP address, date and time, page requested, user agent and HTTP status code. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in security and stability).

Downloads

The software is distributed via GitHub Releases. When you download, you are redirected to github.com; GitHub's (Microsoft Corporation, USA) privacy policy and terms apply.

Contact by Email

If you contact us by email, we process your sender address and the content of your message to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR).

Content Delivery Network (Cloudflare)

This website is served through the Cloudflare content delivery network (USA). Cloudflare processes technical connection data as a processor; EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework apply where applicable.

Recipients and Processors

Recipients of personal data: hosting provider (HostPapa), content delivery network (Cloudflare) and the download platform (GitHub/Microsoft). All process data solely under data processing agreements (Art. 28 GDPR).

International Transfers

Data may be transferred to service providers in the USA (HostPapa, Cloudflare, GitHub). Transfers rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, where applicable.

Retention Periods

Server logs are stored for at most 30 days. Umami statistics are stored without personal reference. Contact requests are deleted once handled, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

Legal Bases

We process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract), Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest) and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent, where obtained). No marketing or analytics cookies are set without consent.

Right to Lodge a Complaint

No automated decision-making, including profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR, takes place.
